The subject matter for my project entails exploring fetish through the play of both everyday objects and commercial fetish items. A hair clip becomes a violent tool of desire. Latex becomes a second skin. Elastic bands become bound resistance, restricting the persons' movement. It delves into the interaction between the objects and the human body sometimes in abstract ways. I am very much interested in this interaction and how we can use symbolism as a way of communicating an image in different ways. There are details of body parts and objects which create intimate connections between the two. I have chosen close up images for the possibility of being abstract. 

 

My book reveals a leaser seen sexual presence. The audience discovers the prominence of sex that can exist between objects or themselves. The series allows for the sexual subject to be accepted, as this form of vivid sexuality is often hidden and seen as a taboo. The book shows this realness without hiding.
